The dictionary is smart enough to know how verbs are conjugated and the dictionary is apparently pretty large - the dictionary has found a translation for almost all the words I have looked up so far. As other reviewers have discussed the dictionary does not handle verbs which have a pronoun appended upon completion such as sentirlo or desvanecerse so in those cases you must open the dictionary and enter the word you need to look up.
